
JEIS Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists (J.E.T.S.)
Aims of J.E.T.S. Club
J.E.T.S. is an acronym for Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists. This prestigious club has been set up to help students appreciate the impact of technological and scientific development to the overall development of a nation and citizens. It aims to produce young technicians, engineers and scientist who are able to deal with local technological and scientific issues. It also aims to explain the underlying causes of some environmental problems and offer possible solutions from a range of scientific and technological perspectives.
Objectives of J.E.T.S. Club
The main objectives of J.E.T.S. clubs are:
- to introduce students to the principles, techniques and practices of engineering
- to equip students with a broad range of engineering skills that will be essential in future academics work
- to teach students to acquire practical skills which will be of value to their further employers
- to assist the students in building up their ability to analyze and solve scientific and technological problems
History of JETS club in Nistech International College
Jets club in Nistech International College began effectively this year -2013. The membership of the club includes all science students in the senior classes and potential scientists in junior classes. The slogan of the club is “Nurturing the future scientists”. The Jets club comprises of 129 students.
The school’s Jets club comprises of seven coordinators who are science teachers, eight executives namely:

Jets club in Nistech International College hosted its first Jets club day on the 8th of November,2013 where two projects: The liquid soap and the sealing machine were exhibited, talk show, group discussions, poems and other scientific activities were displayed. In summary, it was a wonderful event.
